Single Crochet Lesson from Insprink Studio

The first crochet lesson is actually a guest post by Insprink Studio.  As the creator of really cute crochet aviator hats and bow headbands (among other cutie patooties) she's provided great tutorial pictures on how to single crochet.  I think everyone should definitely go check out her Etsy shop and Facebook Fan Page

I love all things crafty, but covering an entire table full of paper, stickers, scissors, glue, beads, and brads just isn't wise when you have a 1 year old who wants to put everything in her mouth and a 4 year old who wants to take attack everything with the safety scissors. Crocheting became my outlet to be crafty, without having to worry about my children's safety (except when they tangle each other up with my ball of yarn). I hope you find a way to crochet in your home because you can do it anywhere and at anytime. Well, you can't wash the dishes or clean the house while you crochet, but what the hey.

Today, I'm going to demonstrate (in a photo tutorial), how to do one of the basic stitches: Single Crochet. At the end of this tutorial, I've got a very helpful link to a Youtube video that gives you the "live" version of the same stitch.
