Sneak Peak

I went to Joann's today with only two things on my list.  I'm not sure how it happened but I came out with a big bag full of things that were sooo not on my list.  I couldn't resist looking around and I started telling myself that I would only get a couple of things and then I saw the sale sign...

I debated about colors and picked things up and put things back and still ended up with way more than the two things from my list.  Well, on the bright side I did remember to get those two little things I went in there for, barely.  I'm willing to admit that all thought of that list went out of my head and I only remembered when I saw the big section on one aisle.  The other I had to go back across the store for when I had managed to make it to the front and was about to get in line.

A sneak peak was promised (and I'm going to be, gasp, sewing) so here goes...

I found this bold fabric and just knew that it would look great with this yarn from my stash.

I fell in love with the colorful fabric and had to track down the matching yarn.

I couldn't resist the sale sign or this pretty fabric.

This is actually a dusty rose color and not the sandy color that the camera flash sees.  This is going to be a purse with the satin for lining.

These are going to be surprise.  You're just going to have to wait and see (they'll probably be the first things completed).

  1. The yarn fits flower pattern a lot! I can't wait to see what you'll make from them!
